My second full bathroom renovation with the team, and the result this time even better. I had a vision, of the overall and all the details, and they delivered perfectly! Also great is they went through the specs of the taps rails toilet etc and found important details i missed. They happily worked with me for the positions of tiles and grout line and where all the fittings went. I absolutely love the room, not a single thing could be better. It is a pleasure to deal with them. Happy to highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with our new bathroom! From the very beginning, Phil and Kal were professional, approachable, and genuinely listened to what we wanted. They took the time to understand our vision and came up with a design that was not only beautiful but also practical. The transformation is incredible. Everyone who walks in there has the same, 'Omg, WOW', reaction. They've taken what was a dated, cramped bathroom and laundry and turned it into two modern, luxurious spaces. The quality of the workmanship and the attention to detail was outstanding. CBRS kept us informed throughout the entire renovation, turned up when they said they would, and always left the work area clean and tidy. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they were happy to answer questions and offer helpful advice along the way. If you're looking for honest, reliable tradesmen who genuinely care about delivering a high-quality result, we can't recommend Phil, Kal and their team, highly enough. Their professionalism, communication, and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you team CBRS for creating a bathroom and laundry that we absolutely love!

Sincere thanks to Phil, Kal & Shari, for their fantastic work renovating our investment property bathroom, toilet, laundry and vanity area. Quality work and very accomodating of our tenant who loves the new bathroom. A pleasure doing business with them!

Working with Phil, Kalissa, Shari and the whole team was an absolute pleasure and we are thrilled with the results. They were extremely attentive to all details and no request was too difficult. The whole process ran smoothly with no stress whatsoever. Highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with the bathroom renovation done by CBRS. The bathroom looks amazing and we over the moon with it. Phil, Kalissa and the whole team were very helpful, professional and supportive through the whole process. The quality of work is outstanding and the CBRS team were accomodating of anything and everything we needed, along with providing guidance and their expertise in all aspects of the renovation from architectural aspects to final design choices. The bathroom feels so calming, earthy and relaxing whenever we step into it - the exact vibe we were going for. We really felt like we were being looked after and that our satisfaction with the end result was top priority. These guys go above and beyond and I would highly recommend them.

We are delighted with our bathroom renovation and finding Phil and his team. Must also thank Dean at Beaumont Tiles for the recommendation. From the moment Phil arrived we were confident of his planning and ability to achieve a finish before the busy Christmas period. The trades were terrific, working in some of the hottest summer days. The result is a dramatic change and a delight to use, it has been worth the wait and caused minimal disruption. We appreciate the support and advice given by Kalissa and Shari, CBRS are a wonderful team, who we highly recommend.

CBRS did an amazing job at transforming our bathroom. The finish is tops and we have had so many compliments from family and friends. Phil and all the trades he engaged were all so respectful and courteous. Would highly recommend CBRS.

Phil and his team at CBRS recently added a new ensuite for us and renovated an existing bathroom. It was truly the best building/renovation experience we have ever had!! Right from the beginning they were easy to do business with, super professional, focused on the detail and quality of finish. Phil and Kal helped us to design the ensuite and surrounding room as I had no idea where to start, they gave great advice on where/what to buy and were super supportive throughout the process. We love the final result. Always on time, high quality and a very considerate team - I would highly recommend CBRS!!

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to CBRS for the amazing job they did with our kitchen! We had previously used CBRS for our two bathrooms and laundry, and we were so impressed with their work that when it came time to update our kitchen, we were really hoping they’d start offering kitchen renovations too. We were thrilled when they did! At first, we were quite daunted by the prospect of changing the kitchen—there were so many options to consider. We had a few ideas, like removing the corner pantry, but we weren’t sure how best to use the space or make the layout as functional as possible. From the very beginning, the CBRS team was incredibly helpful. Both Phil and Kalissa sat down with us, listened carefully to our ideas, and offered their own thoughtful suggestions. Throughout the entire process, they were collaborative, open, and always happy to talk through any ideas or changes we had. Their expert advice on layout and flow helped bring our vision to life. During construction, every member of the team was professional, friendly, and clearly took pride in their work. Every tradeperson did an outstanding job, and the quality of the craftsmanship is exceptional. The timeline was spot on—the only delay came from our decision to replace the flooring at the same time. The kitchen itself was completed exactly on schedule. We are absolutely in love with our new kitchen! The space has been completely transformed, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. Brad and I can’t thank Phil, Kalissa, and the entire CBRS team enough for the care, professionalism, and expertise they brought to our project. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking about renovating their bathroom or kitchen. Thankyou CBRS.

We cannot thank Phil and Kalissa enough for the stunning bathroom they have given our home. The finished bathroom is so beautiful and functional. The huge custom made shaving cabinet and vanity has given us so much storage, which is exactly what we were after. Kalissa’s design advice took out all of the guess work for us with a new floor plan, which made our decisions so much easier. The Custom Bathroom team worked very hard with quality work, especially the tiling which is perfect! Their pride in what they do has really shone through with the final product. We are enjoying the new space so much. We highly recommend Custom Bathroom Renovations Sydney, it will be the best decision you make!

We recently had two bathrooms renovated by CBRS team and we couldn't be happier with the results. After completing multiple renovations over the years, we can confidently say this was the most seamless and enjoyable experience we've had. What really set CBRS apart was their interior design service. We had a challenging shaped space to work with, but their team came up with an amazing design that completely transformed our bathrooms. Their communication and quality of work throughout was exceptional with everything finished to a high standard. The team were punctual, professional and kept everything extremely tidy and clean. We're absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out and highly recommend CBRS to anyone looking for a truly hassle-free renovation experience.

The team of Custom Bathroom Renovations (CBR) was incredibly professional and efficient, Phil and his team transforming my outdated bathroom into the moody hotel vibe we asked for, "I was impressed with their attention to detail and commitment to staying within budget and time frame and nothing was too hard. The entire process was smooth and stress-free." "Working with them was a pleasure from start to finish." I would highly recommend this company for any renovation project."

I recently had the pleasure of working with the fantastic team at CBRS for a renovation of main, ensuite and powder room bathrooms, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the process was seamless and stress-free. The team was incredibly professional, arriving on time each day and consistently communicating updates throughout the project. They took the time to understand my vision, offering expert suggestions while respecting my preferences. The workmanship was nothing short of excellent — every detail was carefully considered, from the tile work to the installation of fixtures. It’s clear that they take great pride in their craft, as the finished product not only looks stunning but is also built to last. I was especially impressed with how efficiently they completed the job, staying on schedule and within the agreed-upon budget. Overall, this bathroom renovation exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this team for anyone looking for top-quality work and a smooth, professional renovation experience.

It was a pleasure to have Custom Bathroom Renovations Sydney renovate our ensuite. Phil has a “can do” attitude. He delivered on everything we wanted like VJ panelling, inset cistern and mitred tiled corners, were other companies did not offer these options. Phil even provided design suggestions as the job progressed to achieve a cohesive look. The whole project ran on schedule, and all the tradies were punctual and professional in their work. We are extremely happy with the result and work undertaken by the entire team at CBRS and look forward to working with them again in the future.

How We Changed Cheryl's Life With a Luxury Bathroom Renovation

Cheryl came to us overwhelmed. Years of surgeries had changed her life, and her bathroom — the one room that should have felt like a sanctuary — was working against her. She knew she needed something that would support her future. But she refused to settle for clinical. She wanted luxury.

What followed was one of the most meaningful renovations we’ve ever been part of.

See how we turned Cheryl’s tired bathroom into the day spa she always deserved.

Questions homeowners ask us first

How much do bathroom renovations cost in Sydney?

Costs vary based on size, layout, and finishes, but we provide tailored guidance for all of our renovations and offer a free consultation.

How long does a bathroom, kitchen, or laundry renovation usually take?

Typically, 4–8 weeks, depending on the project scope and design complexity.

We recently completed a complex kitchen renovation in Buxton that took 11 weeks start to finish. This included a custom design, which had to factor in specific medical and mobility needs.

We also completed an ensuite renovation in Picton recently that took just 5 weeks. This was a smaller space with a lower complexity level.

Are you fully licensed and insured for renovations in Sydney?

Yes, CBRS is fully licensed, insured, and compliant for all residential renovations across Sydney.

We have our licensed waterproofing specialists, like Phil, and our qualified interior designers, like Kal.

We’re also KBDi Members.

Do you offer a workmanship warranty cover, and how long is it?

Yes! We provide a comprehensive 7-year workmanship warranty for all renovations to ensure quality and peace of mind. We also provide waterproofing warranty certificates for wet areas.

Can you help with design selections, layouts, and 3D design previews?

Yes. We, our Co-Founder Kal, is a qualified interior designer and she specialises in layout optimisation, material and colour selection. As part of our end-to-end renovation service, we will assist with layouts, material selection, and 3D design previews. We guide clients through style direction with clarity and confidence, simplifying complex decisions, reducing overwhelm, and supporting clients in defining a vision that aligns with both aesthetics and practicality.
